2024 Seppelt Drumborg Vineyard Pinot Noir

Seppelt Drumborg Vineyard Pinot Noir is an expression of its unique site. Select parcels of Pinot Noir were chosen for intensity of flavour and structure. Traditional winemaking techniques were used, followed by maturation in french oak barrique. The 2024 vintage is a powerful iteration that seamlessly reflects its sense of place.

On the nose, layers of sweet red fruit, bramble, dried porcini and a hint of cordite. The palate is very even with plush, mouth filling cherry stone, pomegranate and juicy redcurrant fruit. The mid is textural and complex with gunflint, struck match and fine grained, velvety tannins. Well-integrated, subtle oak adds structure and flow and the wine finishes with a persistent, yet restrained delicacy and power.
