2021 Coldstream Hills Deer Farm Vineyard Block D Pinot Noir

The Deer Farm Vineyard in the cool Upper Yarra has long been a source of beautifully framed Pinot Noir wines. Consistent with the philosophy to seek out vineyard expression, the outstanding 2021 vintage was of such quality that it provided the opportunity to release a limited range of Single Block wines.

Powerful and tightly structured with great length and a chalky tannin finish. Raspberry, strawberry, and dark cherry are in abundance with harmonious French oak, hints of mineral graphite and spice adding complexity. A wine that needs time but will reward patience in the Cellar.
